A jury has been chosen for the trial of a man charged in the death of a Casino New Brunswick manager two years ago.

Michael Thomas Glaspy, 53, of Riverview is facing one charge of manslaughter relating to the March 28, 2023, death of Rodney Frenette.

Frenette, who was 56, was allegedly assaulted during one of his shifts as a food and beverage manager at the casino in early March. He later died in hospital.

Glaspy, who was present in Moncton court on Tuesday, entered a not guilty plea to manslaughter, which is a homicide committed without intent to kill.
