Olivier Bergeron of Kedgwick, in northwestern New Brunswick, has been singing since he was five and taught himself to play guitar by watching YouTube. After his TikTok videos caught the eye of producers at American Idol, a TV competition for aspiring singers, Bergeron headed to New York to audition.
