A woman has died in a skydiving incident in County Durham.
The woman, aged in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency crews were called to Wreford’s Farm in Shotton Colliery, near Peterlee, shortly before 10.30am on Sunday.
A Durham Constabulary spokesperson said the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will now be prepared for the coroner.
Officers and the ambulance service were called to the scene at around 10.30am on Sunday.
